Simple Grilled Filet Mignon
This is a very simple grilled filet mignon recipe. Filet mignon is an extremely flavorful piece of meat, so any fancy marinades or too many spices will simply take away from the great flavor of the steak. Grilled filet mignon is a true delicacy, and this recipe doesn’t take away from the true flavor of this delicious cut of meat.
ingredients
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
3 sliced garlic cloves
2 teaspoons kosher or sea salt
3 tablespoons E.V.O.O (Extra virgin olive oil)
4 filet mignons (around 5 ounces)
To prepare the filet mignon remove any silvery skin.
Combine the garlic cloves, kosher salt, and extra virgin olive oil in a small bowl.
Now combine the steaks and olive oil mix in a sealable plastic bag and refrigerate for a few hours.
Take the filet mignon out of the fridge and let it warm up to room temperature.
